Rabbi Steven Burg Orthodox Union
Rabbi Burg’s career in NCSY has spanned seventeen years, during which time he has impacted the lives of thousands of Jewish teens making Judaism relevant to their lives.  Rabbi Burg is also the founder of the Jewish Student Union (JSU), a network of 220 public high school clubs that reaches more than 15,000 unaffiliated Jewish teens.  In addition to his role as International Director of NCSY, Rabbi Burg accepted the position of Managing Director for the Orthodox Union in 2007.
William Daroff Jewish Federations of North America
William Daroff, Vice President for Public Policy and Director of the Washington Office of the Jewish Federations of North America, is a leading advocate for the American Jewish community’s agenda in the nation’s capitol. As the chief lobbyist and principle spokesperson on public policy and international affairs for the 155 Jewish federations and 400 independent communities represented by UJC, Daroff ensures that the voice of Jewish federations is a prominent force on Capitol Hill and in the Executive Branch.Daroff guides the Jewish community’s advocacy efforts on the federation system’s key domestic policy issues, principally on health and human services, such as Medicare and Medicaid, long-term care, and policies affecting older Americans, as well as homeland security programs and strengthening the capacity of the not-for-profit sector. In addition to his focus on domestic policy, Daroff is a key player in foreign policy circles – advising policy-makers and elected officials on Jewish communal concerns, principally those related to the US-Israel relationship, the Middle East conflict, vulnerable Jewish communities across the world, and the fight to combat states that promote terror. Daroff has testified before committees in both the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate. 

Daroff received his Bachelor Degree (summa cum laude) in Political Science & History, Masters Degree in Political Science, and Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He currently lives in suburban Washington, DC, with his wife, Heidi Krizer Daroff, and their two children.

Saul Orbach
Saul Orbach has over 27 years of executive leadership in startups, turnaround situations, venture capital and angel investing. Currently, Saul is the Managing Director of The Beachhead Group, the interim management and investment company he founded that fills roles for startups, emerging growth, and distressed companies. Beachhead provides hands-on, operational management for up to six months at the CEO, COO and SVP level, helping organizations move several levels up in their company evolution. Beachhead’s areas of expertise include developing strategy, organizational development, management, sales, business development, marketing, distribution, negotiations, fund raising, finance, and advisory board creation. Saul’s track record includes having built 6 startups, 5 of which had exits, and another 11 companies as an interim executive, 6 of which eventually had exits. Additionally, Saul worked almost two years as an EIR for a venture capital company doing due diligence, making investment decisions, and being active in the company creation process. Saul is a noted speaker and lecturer on entrepreneurship, how to raise money successfully, the art of the turn around and much more. Saul received both an MBA in Finance and a BS in Management and Accounting from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Grant Silverstein is a Senior Sales Associate for the online group buying site Jdeal.com. Jdeal offers consumers unique specials and promotions of various types of products and services. In addition to the traditional group buying model, Jdeal has been a leader in creating a space for non profits in the group buying sector.
Grant has many years of experience in the non profit sector both as a professional and lay leader. Grant is the founder of Coastal Consulting & Event Management, LLC. Prior to joining Jdeal, Grant was the director of Special Projets & Alumni Relations at the Hebrew Academy for Special Children (HASC). Grant also worked as a program and development associate for the Jewish Community Relations Council-NY. In addition to his professional experience, Grant is serves on the board and committees of many community non profit organizations. He has Master in Social Work degree from the Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work.
Geri Stengel Ventureneer
Geri Stengel is president of Ventureneer, which connects nonprofit execs, social entrepreneurs, and socially responsible small business owners with the knowledge they need to make the world a better place and to thrive as sustainable organizations. She is also president of Stengel Solutions a strategic planning and marketing consulting firm. She blogs twice a week on Vistas, which provides insights, strategies, techniques, and solutions that help values-driven businesses realize their social-change missions.
Farra Trompeter Big Duck
Farra has more than 15 years of experience in communications and fundraising for nonprofit organizations. Farra’s expertise focuses on helping nonprofits use the internet (social media, websites, email, etc.) to increase visibility and connect with donors, activists, and other stakeholders. Farra co-chairs the Communications Committee for the New York City Anti-Violence Project and is a part-time faculty member at Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy, where she teaches a class about Online Engagement for Nonprofits.  She also holds an M.S. degree in nonprofit management from The New School.

Dave Weinberg Causil
A serial social entrepreneur, Dave Weinberg is CEO of Causil which helps brands, organizations and individuals engage in the best practices of communications, marketing and technology. Dave started his career by founding Not Now Not Ever to end the genocide in Darfur, evolving into the Save Darfur Coalition, an organization with international exposure and impact. In response to the economic downturn, Weinberg created ParnasaFest, an international grassroots effort to connect employers with job seekers helping over six thousand people achieve success so far in their search.
Under Dave’s leadership, Causil produces the Future of Jewish Nonprofit Summits (FOJNP and FONSI) for industry professionals. These one day summits pull together the best speakers, ideas and companies in order to inspire movement, facilitate change and spark creativity. The New York Jewish Week responded: “be sure Dave is on your radar.”
Often tapped for his opinion on technology, Dave was listed as one of the “Top 50 Influential Personalities Online” by the Jewish Telegraph Agency (JTA).
Avi Zollman Jewish Funders Network
Avi connects people and stories, helping social change organizations inspire their constituents to action. At the Jewish Funders Network, he works to increase the quality and impact of Jewish philanthropy by bringing funders together around their shared interests. He previously worked at Repair the World.
Before joining the Jewish non-profit sector, Avi worked as as a communications consultant and researcher at Gerstein Agne Strategic Communications in Washington, D.C. where he helped organizations, causes and candidates identify messages and themes to better reach their constituencies; as a media researcher and member of the online community department at Media Matters for America; and in the policy and web departments of Howard Dean’s 2004 presidential campaign. Avi has a B.A. from Marlboro College in Vermont, and did graduate work in the School of International Service at American University.
